Johnson County is home to nearly 610,000 people over 480 square miles in northeast Kansas. It is the wealthiest and most populous county in Kansas. Johnson County includes more than 20 cities and unincorporated communities, eight college campuses, and six school districts. Driven by excellent schools and focus on entrepreneurship, it has a thriving economy that includes main street shops and world-class companies such as Garmin and AMC.
